From Simonides (with Socrates, Plato - 400 B.C) to Giordano Bruno (1600 A.D) via Cicero (Roma, JC), a constant tradition of memory maintenance has been worked out (see the Traveling Messenger, Hermes). After an eclipse it reappeared with the Freudian Memory Therapy (childhood repressed trauma) finally well formulated by Lacan.

Since its beginning in 1900, Psychoanalysis - alias Cybernetics - Cyber+Linguistic=Psychoanalyse - has produced a certain number of formulas. Among them, fundamental is the representation of Linguistics :

Lacan's Art of Memory is an updated linguistics system of fixed Places & rotative Terms (i.e. Simonides method) as follows:

S1 = First Logos (alias Representation, Primal Sifnigicant) alias Assertion

S2 = Second Logos (alias Representation of the Representation) alias Knowledge

a = Desire's Object (alias 'other')

$ = Crossed Out (alias 'instant in transformation')

• ----PLACES:

AGENT - ALTER - PRODUCT - TRUTH

• ----Each rotation of the four TERMS on the four PLACES define four CLAUSES

        Clause of Mastery (alias Expertise)

        Clause of Knowledge

        Clause of Hysteria

        Clause of Analysis

The Terms design the states of nature of the being (Psychos), the Places design a topos of Cyberspace, the Clauses design their arrangement into a Socios (discourse).
